Still squishin' paper wasps! Every time I go into the carport I see one or two more around my truck mirror, have been using my electric flyswatter on them (such a satisfying snap when I connect).
Then, I noticed a brand new nest, just two "tubes" so far, above the truck on the carport ceiling next to some hollow molding. Started soaking the tiny nest with spray, felt the concrete under me rumble, and 37,485 wasps began emerging from the molding. I sprayed as long as I dared, screamed like a little girl, and ran into the house.

Just packed up the jet/river boat. While having way to many rums. Took a few days off and going to hit the river and head up to do some camping and fishing for a few nights. Got a sitter. Should be a good time. Hope the sturgeon are around.County of Parkland, Alberta, Canada
