Read an article about using fresh ground coffee as a steak rub.
Here is my take on this rub: 1 T fresh grind our coffee from a local roasting house along with the other spices
ribeye salted and resting at RT until egg came to temp
Ready for the Small
Resting.
The board sauce started out as a pepper sauce (made red bell pepper, onions, Anaheim pepper, garlic and tomatoes) but, the green beans looked like a good fit and they joined the sauce.
Sliced...The freshly ground
coffee really works with the steak. This cook is a keeper, and the veggies
really complimented the steak

That's awesome Joan. I started using the board sauce after reading one of your threads awhile back. Thanks for the inspiration.

As always, great looking cook, Ma'am!
I've used a pepper based board sauce - wondered if it had green beans in it, had to go back and read the original post again.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad! -
Killer Joan. Coffee is outstanding on steak (only way Linda and Granddaughters eat it now) as well as pork and chicken/turkey.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Fine looking steak!
I have been on a kick with a coffee seasoning (1 part coffee (I fresh grind some), 1 part season salt (Lawry's), 1 part sugar, 1/2 fresh cracked black pepper). It is awesome on chicken, chops, and steak!.------------------------------
