That's a truck I bought with a blown motor for $3300. I lucked out, I was ready to drop in a new engine but I pulled the valve cover and it just had a broken valve spring and valve on the #1 intake. I pulled the head, put a new valve guide, valve, spring, retainer and it runs like new.

PS - I think I set a record for alcohol consumption in a 48 hour period. I'm not proud of that, but it is what it is. Thanks for the supporting cast, especially Red, who drove me and my truck home, Ray for being the boil master, Scottie for hitting Restaurant Despot and others to make this a successful fun boil. We're there next year, but we're getting 3 booths and bigger corporate sponsorship. whoop! whoop! We had some sweet booth babes (thanks Rachael) and were next to the hooters booth, but F those people. Sexist pigs.

@cazzy - thanks brother! You need to come down to the big easy (when I'm available). Scottie wants to give you a hand job, he was telling me. I'll leave you lovers alone if you want the space. We had fun and life is just too easy unless you tackle sh*t like this. (why why why do I do these things!!!???)

Tony Tiger showed up, and a bunch of my friends I hadn't seen in a while. There were around 5500 people there and we cooked 20,000 pounds of crawfish, plus taters and other goodies.

I must say that was one great event! Two weekends in a row for me attending crawfish cook-offs. All I can say is, I love eating crawfish. Although I wasn't any help, nolaegghead and SGH boiled some awesome tasting crawfish. Not too salty and just the right amount of heat and easy to peel. I spent most of my time walking around the festival sucking heads and pinching tails at the other booths. I was too busy eating and didn't socialize with my fellow eggheads
I sorta feel bad about that but, I had to make a choice and eating crawfish won out
My two week total comsumption of crawfish, I estimate to be somewhere around 20-30 lbs. Seriously!
I suggest that next year @SGH wear some orange shorts. Everyone seemed to be very interested in people that wore orange pants.
Oh and thanks to the guy at the gate and @nolaegghead for getting me in for free."I'm stupidest when I try to be funny"

We grilled two sacks of oysters "Drago" style. Ray had the "secret" ingredients - anise and oregano. Seems like everyone there shared our oysters. People came up to me the next day while I was in a post-alcoholic haze and said, man, your oysters kicked butt. I didn't remember most of them, but having the only grill (my medium BGE) on the premises and oysters, you make lots of friends.

@nolaegghead - What?! You chargrilled oysters! When I asked you what you were cooking on teh egg you said SAUSAGE. WTF!!!.......... Why didn't I get to sample the oysters?
That's it buddy we're done.

In Nolas defense, I cooked the majority of the oysters Friday night for the blonde Hooter girl. There was only half a sack left for the Saturday cook. I just could not say no to her.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Scottie was smitten by the T&A. Like it was the first time he's seen it.

Next year we're gonna be the Kamado Joe Eggheads. I've tried to get some sponsorship from BGE and I'm just tired of paying out of my own pocket for promoting their products. Crickets from them. It was a lot of fun though.
