Competition Chicken Thighs and Oakridge Rub

I've been "trimming" Chicken Thighs for the last few times I've cooked them. It's a bit of a pain to prepare but the results are worth the effort.

My Oakridge Rub order (direct, thanks for the tip) arrived yesterday, SWHBO is out of town and I thought I'd cook some thighs and whole wings with one of the new rubs - "Secret Weapon Pork and Chicken Rub". I was impressed with the size of the individual packets with the sample pack - makes Dizzy's sample packs looks silly IMHO. 

I "trimmed" the thighs,  did a moderate coating of rub and out in the fridge for drying. More this evening when I cook them raised direct @350-375
