There you go.  The pictures have been added.  I figured it was either go big or go home.  Since I'm not generally the stand out when it comes to grilling I decided to throw everything but the kitchen sink at the Throwdown!!!  The steak was a Porterhouse coated in salt and pepper then grilled caveman style at 500 degrees.  Grilled about two and a half to three minutes per side to a perfect medium.  Then it was topped with a butter medallion made with sautéed garlic, parsley, oregano, and basil.  The salmon was brined for about 18 hours, coated with Kodiak River rub by BGE, then grilled at 450 degrees with slices of lemon on the salt block.  About half way through grilling the salmon I started brushing a maple honey glaze with a little lemon juice to loosen it up a little.  The caveman steak and the salmon on the salt block were my first attempt at both.  Never tried caveman and never used the salt block.  This won't be the last time though.  For sides we had gnocchi with a garlic butter sauce and brussel sprouts with bacon.
XL BGE, LG BGE, and a hunger to grill everything in sight!!!

Thanks yall! Kabobs might be our favorite throw together meal. We road tripped to Charlotte and back today. With our four year old. One more beer and I might be over it. Lol.

@ozzie_Isaac It would be nice to have you enter the contest.  Before it is all said and done I'm sure my entry will be crushed by many.  It was so much fun to do and a learning experience.  Normally I don't post many of my cooks good or bad.  I felt it was cheesy to post cooks of regular food that isn't that special.  I have learned though that it is more fun than embarrassing and can be a valuable learning experience not only for myself but also for others that are just starting out and getting their feet wet on the Egg.

It was difficult choosing the 5 photos. Also after posting I noticed some of my text was missing so I had to go back and add it in.  This was a fun cook. Thanks for heading this up @GalanteNate_OneEa

I see your reading comprehension is as good as mine.  Imagine if you had to only choose 4 like the rules say?

@Ozzie_Isaac you may want to re-read those rules.

"You may opt to include one additional photo (but not mandatory), of your choice, of any part of the process."

Unless I read this wrong that makes 5. @GalanteNate_OneEa :grey_question:

    1. Picture ingredients (I forgot that :( )
    2.  1 picture of ingredients on grill
    3.  One plated picture
4a.  One additional if you want.
4b.  One more if you are @NPHuskerFL

What?  No I was kidding.  At least you should have drug it out past the hour and then said, I tried to comply, but stupid vanilla won't let me.

    Put the pic back!

That MM photo was awesome!  At least post it in here.

No @Ozzie_Isaac I believe in being fair across the board. I misinterpreted the optional photo as being a number 5 photo. My bad
I can post a full pictorial but, after the contest egg. I didn't even posted my obligatory gif pic.

@NPHuskerFL that whole fish looks crazy good.  Always wanted to try something like that but am afraid of all the bones.
