@saluki2007 funny you should ask, I specifically avoided use of the word meal. If I did say meal I am sorry, dish and entry were the words I tried to use to keep it more open and inclusive. I had another picture to post but it was of a cook that someone else did of an appetizer that fit the surf and turf. So yeah, as long as it's surf and turf and cooked on a BGE its in!

I'm with @Legume I went to a fish fry last night. Delicious btw. Today will be grocery shopping and tomorrow fire up both eggs. Probably cook something today too unrelated. <<BR>  bump

I'm out on this one.  I'm doing the turf part, but I don't want to make another trip to the market for the surf.  I just read this.  If I had seen it earlier I may have planned for it.  I will be cooking a rib roast today.   Thread to come later.

Went to the meat market to get an ingredient and it was spoiled.

@NPHuskerFL tweezers. I recommend putting it in a jalapeño with a little CC and wrapping with bacon, for a nice twist on abts

Cooking now. Having a blast.  @Ladeback69 and @tarheelmatt it's good you won't be entering.  Wouldn't want to embarrass the two of you...er get my butt kicked by both of you.  My cooks are usually good tasting but ok looking.  I'm going for technical points hoping to get on the good side of the judges.  We'll see...

Well SWMBO only wants the rib roast so I'm out this time, sorry.   I'm too tired to go to the store, after dealing with 2-6 year olds, snow blowing and cooking.  I'm ready for a drink.

I'm entering my plan B, but it isn't as epic as plan A though.
