@SGH has to register his mouth with the local authorities as a lethal weapon. At brisket camp, the NOPD strung a perimeter of "Do not cross - police line" tape around SGH when he started attacking the brisket. This was done for the sake of public safety and after a previous "incident". I lost about 20 board-feet of lumber when SGH needed a tooth pick. There are areas of the parish where there's a dearth of animal life, sort of like a land-based Mississippi delta "dead zone", when SGH did some hunting. So yeah, he can cook....and eat.

I'm sad to say, that due to work, as of late I have really been slipping on my eating. However, when this job is complete, myself and brother Nola are having a lobster and oyster throw down. I assure you that I will be back in top eating and true heavyweight form for the occasion. We will post the aftermath!!johnkitchens said:You should see HOW much he can eat!Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

This is what the French Quarter will look like after SGH and I eat the entire oyster supply in New Orleans.

@SGH I have no doubt that you will be back in full eating mode when your job is complete. I was very sorry to hear about your brother in law. You have my deepest sympathy.

I do not currently own a BGE however, I have 3 kamado Joes, a 13" jr, an 18" classic and a 24" big joe. I spoke with Big Green Craig on the kamado guru site and told him that I would love to join this forum too.I promise never to get in any this is better than that debate with anyone on this forum. I just love learning more about kamado cooking and hopefully contributing to others looks for food advice.I hope you can look past my lack of BGE equipment and accept me on the fact that I share the same love that you do for great food and ceramic cookers!!!This website opens me up to even more kamado related posts!Thanksbosco
Ryan, don't feel bad. I joined the egghead forum quite some time ago to learn about and buy the Minimax as well but couldn't make it happen in time before I ended up with a Kamado Joe Junior (and also others).
You will love the community and the awesome cooking here!
