I never have resolutions but this year I plan to keep a closer eye on our finances. Need some work in that area, especially with another kid coming in May.

I'm not going to drink any more. I may even try to drink less.

Some things are best left unsaid. Mine are all on a personal level and I fully intend on following through. Life is entirely too damn short and relationships are most important to me. I try to set short time and longtime goals. Not resolutions. I say that because most "New Years Resolutions" are short lived.

I made a new year's resolution many years ago and I have stuck with it.

Back in the 1980's some time, I made a New Year's Resolution to never make another New Year's Resolution.

And it has been working quite well for me.

  • @SGH from the quantity of food that you can devour you could probably be an honorary member of Overeaters Anonymous.

What is so impressive is that you can do it without the weight gain.

My weight is out there where I can easily watch it. Can't see my shoes, but we all need to make sacrifices.

I feel your pain brother. It's funny how things change. Back in my power lifting days, it was my chest that blocked the view off my feet. Four years out of the gym and off the juice, it's now my belly that blocks my view. Sure wish that it was still the other way around.

Since I used to lift with unnatural body builders...based off your list alone and their relation, I know you're being truthful. Glad you didn't mess stuff up. Some people get in over their head and their cycle gets out of control.

Sadly and unfortunately I'm being perfectly honest about my use. I don't try to hide it as there are to many people that knew I was doing it. My wife included. Luckily the only I'll affect that I have suffered is my knees are shot from the heavy squats. Had I been lifting natural my knees would still be in good shape. And thank you for the kind words.

@cazzy‌ Yep! Deca, Tes, Dbol packs stacked. Like candy! Benched 650, deep squatted 750, hip sled over 800 and military pressed sets of 225. Won't go into specifics but roid rage would be a massive understatement. That was a very long time ago.

Impressive brother husker.  At a body weight of 245 I could bench press 385 for 3 clean reps. Squat 585 for 1 clean rep. I specialized in the dead lift. Cold I could approach 700 pounds. Hot I could pull 720 consistently. Best ever pull was 735 hot.
