What's wrong with promoting a product you believe in? Isn't it part of the eggperience? I'm in the works of purchasing the Cgw for my xl. Thanks! @biggreencraig

YEMTrey said:Love it. One of the reasons I bought the Mini Max is to take on road trips to my daughters club soccer tournaments. With this swing rack modification I'll be able to cook for the entire team in between or after games.Thanks for the idea and detail.

You're correct. I'm sorry you overspent on something that does exactly the same thing as mine does.

Some would say that about the woo vs their fire bricks.
Rigs versus their bolted together grids.
Eggs versus the vision

@Eggcelsior )
@BigGreenCraig It's a novel item that appears to have good functionality. However, the price #-o
Why not just make a homemade raised grid? Did this on my large and it gets used a lot. Sure it's faster using something like you're using. But, with a homemade one costing $15-$25 w/ SS hardware. The two tier becomes a tough sale for me. Maybe it's just me though. And I'm not saying it's not a good product.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL -

I like my 2 Tier Swing Rack on my small. It's fun to cook on. I really like swinging it out to get at the lower grid. It's a great product. I have the woo for my small as well, but the Swing Rack beats the woo easily. Nuffin wrong with the woo, just my preference.Flint, Michigan

What's funny is that's how the much of rest of the bbq world sees big green egg. At least that's what I've gathered from other bbq forums.Slumming it in Aiken, SC. -
On another note will a small top fit on a mini max? Then you get the space of the small and no mod to 2 tier rack.

I have 3 of the cheap ones that sort of work. They are laying in a pile along with other accessories that sort of works. I'd be happy to send them to you if you'd like. At least they would get some use that way.Big_Green_Craig said:Eggcelsior said:You're correct. I'm sorry you overspent on something that does exactly the same thing as mine does.
You can send them to me. :-??Slumming it in Aiken, SC. -

If they only "sort of work" it's user error. I have one and it works as advertised. I have zero issues with it. I have had no sagging with up to 14 lbs of food on the top grid.

I disagree due to my experience, but thanks for your opinion.Eggcelsior said:If they only "sort of work" it's user error. I have one and it works as advertised. I have zero issues with it. I have had no sagging with up to 14 lbs of food on the top grid.

Don't mess with Craig he's EPIC. You can't flag me. Ha Ha!

I had the extender it works but in the end felt cheap and took away from the lower grid space. Glad its gone.Seattle, WA

It's not my opinion, it's your lack of experience.Big_Green_Craig said:
