Big Green Egg Spring Hinge, Handle, Hardware, and Band for sale

For sale is a used hinge & band setup for a large sized big green egg.  The bottom band is broken, but the rest of the parts work just fine.  I will remove the bottom band when I ship this to save on weight, though it is pictured.  The hinge, upper band, handle, and all the hardware is good... this is perfect if you have a broken hinge or band on your egg and need to repair it.  BGE only sells the hinge and bands as a package, and its pretty expensive to buy it new from them, so here's an opportunity to get your egg up and running for cheaper.  Believe the hinge will also fit other sizes.

Are we not allowed to sell stuff on here? I'm an individual looking to pass on some parts to another egghead who might need them... I believe spam would be a company posting links to their website.

@danam404 -- I personally have no problem with you posting this for sale. I do not consider it spam. In fact I think it's a good thing and could possibly help someone in need.  But, I'm more then certain that others here will want to stone and banish you. Be prepared.

My opinion, not a good first post. There have been some major blowouts with folks trying to market, sell stuff in the past and left a bad taste in the mouths of some. Might have come out of the box with a cook.

welp, I've been lurking for years, just never had a reason to post.  not trying to market anything, just seeing if someone needed this thing before it went on ebay.  Sorry to offend!

ha! i didn't even realize it was that big until you mentioned it... i have no idea how that happened i copied and pasted it from a word document.  whoops!!

No @TigerTony‌ it was actually two thoughts run together, both of which are my opinions that are worth less that the bandwidth they are delivered on.

I personally was just messing around (any excuse to use a meme generator I guess). You seem like a good person just trying to help someone else out if they needed some parts. You should stick around and show us some of your cooks. Just think twice before you start selling @danam404 t-shirts!

thats about a circa 2002/2003 mexican spring band. most of the parts on that band will not fit the newer bands. bge replaced most of those as they failed. the give away is the pin and the handle being welded, not bolted. they were made in the usa the year after, more rugged, bigger springs etc. theres one hanging in my basement

@fishlessman - My Dad still has a band without the springs and is secured open by a locking pin
