I figured I would throw another off-topic here to get peoples mind off the election..for just a few seconds anyway I am doing some content building over at the 'Nest' and would like to know:

1. Do you have a website or blog? If you do, would you mind sharing it for the Sites area at The BGE Nest?
2. If you do not have a website or blog, have you ever considered making one?
3. Do you have any hobbies outside of Eggin' that others here may be interested in too?
4. What is your favorite thing to do on a computer/mobile device?
5. What is your favorite thing about this website?
6. What do you hate most about this website?

1.  No website or blog.  Wouldn't know the first thing to do to get it started.

2.  Never considered nor will I ever consider it.

3.  Other than football and hockey not really. 

4. Mostly use the mobile for Facebook, email, yahoo news, and this site.

5.  Favorite thing is how willing people are to help you out with just about anything and how easy it is to find information in the search area.

6.  The sensitivity of people.  Some people are joking around when they go off the deep end(@SGH) others just need to get over themselves.

1. I do not have a website.
2. I don't have the necessary computer skills to make a website. That said, when I'm manufacturing smokers full time im willing to pay someone to create one for me.
3. Hunting, fishing, camping and modifying and tuning pits.
4. Give help and advice on cooking forums.
5. In general the people. I have had the privledge of meeting some very fine people from this forum. Sadly, some were democrats
6. The only minor issue I ever have had with the forum is some are just unwilling to accept me as I am. For the record I'm not speaking of Cazzy. There are some you can just feel the tension even when I'm only trying to help them. I have never entirely understood this. It reminds me of the whose **** is bigger than whose phase all kids go through. Luckily I was always hung like a bear

1.  Not for anything related to egging, or cooking.
2. If I felt that it would benefit either site, sure.
3. Hunting, music, umpiring baseball, CERT, SAR
4. Browse, read, Facebook
5. Recipes and suggestions.
6. Can't make changes to posts after a point.  A lot of other forums I belong to allow me to go back and edit posts long after I have posted.  Here on Vanilla, I'm stuck within an hour of when I posted.  Hate having to make a repost to correct an error that I didn't pick up.

1. I have several sites, but none of them are cooking or BBQ related.
2. Maybe. I don't want to be persecuted because on one of them I actually make money on. (The horror!) 
3. Golf, and riding 4 wheelers. I also enjoy riding down dirt roads in a truck or any other vehicle. I find it very relaxing. 
4. Visit this forum, and facebook mostly. I also watch a lot of You Tube clips, and I stream Netflix, HBO, Cinemax, Amazon Prime, etc.
5. The people and the food pics. A pic really is worth 1000 words to me. 
6. Not knowing who the mod's are and not being able to edit my posts after an hour.

OK, I'll play. I'm done working and had an absolutely awesome dinner of takeout Hot and Sour soup. Oh, and I started drinking.

1. I have a Facebook page to post my cooking. Started this because I think some of my FB friends were getting tired of my food posts.
2. Considered it, but the FB page and this site is enough of an outlet for me.
3. Not sure if others would be interested, but kids activities, hanging out with my wife. Hanging out with my wife when not attending kids activities is a favorite of mine.

1 no 2. Do you know how many food blogs there are? It's basically white noise at this point. 3. Football baseball 4. I mean besides this forum? I mostly read sports news and surf grilling websites 5. I like that there isn't a ton of senseless trolling. Most people on here have a good sense of humor and can take a joke. 6. I don't really hate anything about the forum. I'm still pissy that I was out of the country and didn't see the sauce/rub exchange until I got back and people got some sweetass stuff. But that's only a fault of circumstance.

Awesome responses folks..There definitely seems to be a bond here between the people. Not sure how many of you have posted this type of information before, but it does describe you a lot better..

I guess i should answer these questions too..

1. Duh.. Yes.. Several websites
2. See answer to #1
3. I like playing music, singing, shooting, fishing, and hanging out with the wife (yes she is fun to be around)
4. I like watching YouTube videos, working on my site, and view the news
5. There is a lot to learn here and being a Eggin' newb somewhat, it's needed.
6. Not much really. I don't like the fact you cant edit your posts after 1 hour. People can be a little over sensitive at times.

No seriously I agree. You have to go with the flow. I have only had one blowup here so I guess that isn't too bad. 

@henapple I would love to see that blog. You are a riot, and I am sure your blog would be hilarious.

Great idea and good questions. Good info. to share and I hope your site works out. 1. No website. I'm an IT pro but don't wish to do it outside of work. I would share if I did. 2. Don't wish to make one. 3. Enjoying great food, performing with my band, teaching kids about God, watching sports & football...travel, spending time with family and friends.... 4. Using iPad and spend time on this forum, Facebook, and checking You tube.... Apple devices!!! 5. Awesome folks that cook, share recipes and insights along with funny posts. I've met some great friends on here and look forward to meeting them in person someday soon. 6. I don't have anything negative about this site other than it took me a few times to join.

Thanks @anzyegg . Yeah this gives me ideas and my site is still growing/building, but it mainly gives everyone here a little bit more of an idea of 'who were are' outside of Eggers.

1 - Yes, I have a photography site and a food blog.  However, the food blog hasn't been updated in some time.  Since my little girl came into this world, I don't have as much time as I once did.  I would really like to spruce it up some though.  They are in my signature. 

2 - I have the abilites to make one, but it takes me forever.  I use Smugmug for my photography and Blogger for my food.  Like number 1, my blog needs work.  

3 - Photography, cooking, sports (basketball, softball), cornhole

4 - Computer mainly editing photos, surf the web.  Mobile device - text, mild surfing, Fantasy Football, check scores

5 - The people

6 - The known bugs, some people, questions

I have had one in the past for my counseling ministry through my church. 

3. Do you have any hobbies outside of Eggin' that others here may be interested in too?     Volunteer firefighter, Hazmat team, ERT, kayaking, hunting, being with wife, cast iron cooking, but so far only on the egg, guitars, drug and alcohol counseling, etc etc

5. What is your favorite thing about this website? I like everything about it !!  even Henapple's jokes !!
