Tornado Turkey

The weather has been awful here all day so I thought why not.
The weather. Flooding and windy. Still very hot and humid though.
The smoker. Large BGE.
The turkey. 4 pound Breast.
The stuffing. Cheddar cheese, bacon, white American cheese and more bacon.
The injection. 50/50 Tabasco and butter.
The seasoning. Salt, pepper, and a little cayenne.
The lay out. Simply butterfly the breast, stuff with all the above and then either tie or jetnet. I chose to Jetnet for simplicity.
The cook. To be determined by weather. But will be indirect with drip pan for sure.
Smoke wood. None.
Lump. OO.

Due to severe weather, I was forced to finish the bird at 475 degrees. Turned out pretty good though all things considered. Will remove the netting once cooled.

Btw... I think I'll take my snow over your tornados and hurricanes... Although we've had a few tornados over the last couple of years, nothing compared to what you get.... That stuff is crazy scary

Twice I've had a gun in my face. Three times a knife. Used to drive race cars. Football, hockey... You get the point. But tornadoes. They scare the **** out if me. I mean terrify me. Stay safe there SGH. And that turkey just made the weekend menu. I might pick your brain later.

Holy crap, stay safe dude, wish I could take some of that rain off your hands, we are in one of our worst droughts here in Planet California!! Turkey looked real good. I don't know if you saw it but I posted the clam cake recipe a couple weeks ago, type clamcake into search bar and it'll come right up, your countertop deep fryer is perfect for them. Enjoy that fine meal.

I have attempted fixing a few things with a hammer myself before. If I get really aggravated with it I have been known to try to fix it with a 338 Lapua magnum as well. It never works, but it sure does make me feel better my friend
