I don't understand why anyone has a problem with a beautiful woman trying to sell gorgeous tables on here. I'm a ugly man that pushes awful food off on y'all everyday. See any irony in that? I'm buying one of her tables just as sure as the sun sets in the west.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

I have no problem with it at all. Just jumping on the fun band wagon. It's late and I'm bored.

@cazzy‌ Aren't you a San Antonio guy? Anyway I tried 2 brothers bbq market last week. Read good things about it on yelp. The brisket was dry, dry, dry. Wasn't crazy about the "pork butt" either. Have you been there?

Glad it wasn't just me. Last time I was there, I drove to Austin and la bbq. Very good brisket and very good ribs also. Just didn't have the 3-4 hours to wait in line for franklins.

@tulocay I went to a place over by the Air Force base that had great brisket, I forgot the name though.

    My Yelp Review

    Two Bros. BBQ Market

    Category: Barbeque

    2.0 star rating
     3/29/2014
Let me start by saying that i've experienced some of the best BBQ Texas has to offer.  Franklin Barbecue, La Barbecue, Louie Miller Barbecue, etc.  Being a weekend warrior, I've also made a ton of briskets.
My first visit, Emilio was there, but the experience was very underwhelming.  I got brisket, pulled pork, and a cherry glazed rib.  I got a slice of flat and a couple slices of point.  The flat was dry and the point was good, but I couldn't enjoy it because they did a very poor job trimming the brisket.  There was about an inch of fat on most of the point, so most of it was inedible and I couldn't have the perfect combination of bark, fat, and meat.  Come on guys...you're supposed to trim the fat cap to about a 1/4 of an inch.  By not doing so, it obviously didn't render.  Rookie stuff!  The pork was okay, and the cherry glazed rib was great.

I decided to give them a 2nd chance, afterall, they made the Top 50 from Texas Monthly.  I walk up to the counter and tell the girl I would like 3 slices of point and 1 slice of flat.  "Huh?"  I should have turned around and walked out.  I ordered the point and flat using their other names and finally found one she understood.  I ordered some mac and cheese and some beans to go with it.  So i'm getting my drink and see the same girl at the register slicing my brisket.  I immediately thought, how is this girl going to slice me some brisket if she doesn't even know what the damn point is.  I was correct!  She had no damn clue how to slice brisket.  It was mangled and cut with the grain.  This royally sucked because the brisket had better flavor than the first time and was properly trimmed.  The sides were good, but the winner of the visit was the pickles. lol  Before we left, it looked like the manager called her to the back and chewed her out.  We're on our way out and my buddy and I look back towards the pits and I was blown away.  This same girl who has no freaking clue about BBQ was trimming, seasoning, and throwing briskets on the pit.  WTH??  No wonder there is no consistency here...as you can easily read in the reviews.

The one thing that is horrible about this place is the flow.  You order, then you sit or linger aimlessly while you wait for someone to fill your ticket, then you pay.  There is nothing more satisfying than telling the person on the cutting block what you want, and watching them cut to order.

If you want great BBQ San Antonio, Two Bros. is not the spot.  Harmon's Barbecue is probably the closest option.  Hell, even Rudy's is better!  If you want the best BBQ you've had in your life, go to Austin!

Agree with the flow. It was awful. Been to Rudy's. Had the ribs and they were ok. When I drove to Austin and waited in line for 10 minutes at la BBQ, it was totally worth the drive from SAT.

Harmon's, that is where I went. The Brisket was good.

Harmon's BBQ used to be pretty good.  I was let down my last visit.  However, I don't know if it got worse or if I've become pickier about Q, especially brisket.

  • @cazzy didn't see the point. I said what I thought in my first post and stick by my post.

@sgh no offense brother but I could care less what she looks like. I would rather see the p I ca of your food as that is why I'm here.

it would be a different story if a forum member made a table for there own egg/eggs and then decided to make them for a living but to join a forum to sell there product just strikes me the wrong way.

After making tables for years and loving them, you are just now thinking of making one for yourself?

@Kyrstie_Mandarin‌ Ma'am I think your tables are awesome. Can you PM me some prices? My wife has been wanting to get a new table as mine is in foul shape. Thanks.
    Sent :)
But I thought you were just here for ideas? Not to SPAM your tables...
LOL.  She was asked and has already apologized.
And she also said she wasn't here to SPAM and is passing out pricing via the forum... If you're here to SPAM fine then do it and take the flame, but don't **** around and say your here to learn
Not here to "SPAM" and am in a few different forums and BGE groups.. But if someone is interested in a table am I to ignore them?

No sorry, but SPAM would be if I was passing out inappropriate or irrelevant message to a large number of people. My original post WAS SPAM, I apologized and corrected it! Now that one person has inquired about the tables I have given them the information they requested.. If you had a table and someone asked where it came from would you not direct them to where you got it from?

Ok, you guys are sad little people but since you must know my story.. I just moved down to TX in Feb.. started working for a custom cabinet shop as an accountant and designer.. Took part in a BGE grilling, thoroughly enjoyed it!! Seen a table made by the cabinet shop I work for and became inspired by the BGE and the Tables! Being a single mother of two that just recently moved to TX from KY on my own.. I haven't had the finances to buy my Egg until recently so I have been making tables to see other people happy and to get ideas for what I want on my table! Any other questions?!

Well I could always put a dog pic or naked baby pic up, but I thought I would be real about who I am ;)

And I don't believe my wood work has anything to do with my looks anyhow

My avatar baby isn't naked...his junk is wrapped in bacon. A few folks have tried to sell tables. I don't get the logistics. Texas to Nashville shipping of a table would be pretty expensive.

    Sincerely,

    Sad little man.
