Tell her you need it for the very same reason she needed that double oven in her kitchen.

Self-gifted a Snake River Farms brisket for Father's Day!

Make sure to post about it. I'm doing a prime packer this weekend and really looking forward to it.

Hope you all have a great day. Unfortunately I'm playing with my band on the Friday & Saturday nights. It may wipe me out for Sunday cook but you never know...
  • I thought I saw a Father's Day thread!
From the "What Comes Around Goes Around Department", I wanted a Smokeware cap for Father's Day. It ain't happening.

For Mother's Day I was clueless so I ask Wilma what she wanted. She said she wanted a card, flowers & chocolate. So that's what she got.
Fast forward - So I've been hinting at this cap. No dice. I happen to say I have to replace the heavy duty shop vac so I can clean the gutters. Maple tree helicopters are falling like rain at my house and you got to get them out of the gutter. "Good thing I didn't buy that cap thingy so you can get that shop vac."

She means it. No cap for me, but the gutters will be clean.

Getting a smokeware cap for my M and XLBGE. As for the cook, have no idea but ribs does sound good.

Not to hijack the thread but wow Jeremiah that is awesome.  I've often thought about building a teardrop trailer.  How have you found the project so far?  How many hours are you into it?

Lol. Thanks. It's been an on and off project since we sold our "big" camper two years ago. I'm on it full bore now and hope to be done by fall.

I wish that BGE had the MiniMax ready to sell by this weekend as I'd get one of those...

My wish list for Father's day is for my kids to listen, and for me to be allowed to cook all day on my XL and L BGE's.  I saw some USDA Prime grade ribeyes recently that looked mighty tasty, they would go great with some U-10 grilled shrimp we just brought back from Mexico, some grill-roasted corn and 2x egged taters.

I may try some of the BGE cookbook dessert recipes too this weekend.

Welcome!
