Trying to pass the tradition along to the younger ones. Here is Bre's first attempt at spares. So far looking pretty good. 5 hours in at a steady 225 degrees. Not bad for her first attempt. Paw Paw is proud of her to say the least! imageimageimageimage

Great to pass on the passion of the Egg. How old is she? I have a 4 1/2 yo grand daughter who love 'Egg food'.

Bre is 8 years old. She is kind of my pick because she enjoys most of the outdoor activities that I like. Nothing better than time with the little ones.

@SGH Enjoy all the time with her. Our grand daughter and her Dad (our son) live with us and it's the best thing ever happened. She keeps me young, and has me wrapped around her little finger. If she wants something, GrandPa will do what it takes to make her happy. Love having her here.

Know the feeling, great to share with the wee ones. My five year old grandson loves to "Get my BBq shoes on" and really likes to watch BBQ Pit Boys with me. He likes to slather the butt with mustard...loves to get his hands all covered.

Great to share with them, enjoy!

I know the feeling brother. Bre has been with me most of her little life. What ever she wants she knows Paw Paw will make it happen. She makes me feel 30 years younger for sure. I have enjoyed and cherished every moment that I have had her.

cooking memories are special. My mom taught me how to cook and I miss her every time I prepare a meal. I'm hoping to one day pass the torch on to my little guy that he knows his way around the kitchen and the eggs!
