My initial review of the Woodford Double Double Oaked-Taste points about the same as the double oaked, lacked any noticeable and distinctive finish.  Glad I did it once but not again. FWIW-
Remember-all bourbon palates (like pizza) are different!
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Just bought a bottle of single barrel of four roses 100 proof so
I really wasn't in need of another. I happened upon this four roses single barrel oesk 100 proof that peaked my interest.
Tried tasting side by side, single and oesk are both pleasing to the pallet but the oesk is more complex fuller feel and easy finish
If you like four roses single barrel I highly recommend it $45 a bottle

Picked this up via r/bourbon's weekly offering. Definite hints of chocolate in the aroma. Some heat
on the front end - not unexpected for 114.6 proof.

Agreed - I picked up the KC12 and a bottle of Midwinter Night's Dram at the same time I bought this one. Of course I didn't tell SWMBO what I spent on those 3 bottles.
