Where has this Ardbeg been all my life. Its phenomenal! I’d put it in the Lagavulan 16 area. If you haven’t enjoyed it please do so.

@pgprescott I’ve had the black but never tried the blue. I prefer the Islay scotches.

Any other Islay you'd recommend. I’ve done Laphroig, Bowmore, lagavulin 8 &16 and now Ardbeg.

The Islay’s you mention are in my opinion the cream of the crop. Most notably Lagavulin. I would also suggest trying Talisker if you haven’t already. It is not from Islay but is a very good single malt. If you can find the one pictured below you will not be disappointed.
