  • Wow! This beer was incredible! Fantastic stout for any one that can ever get their hands on it. Highly recommend!

  • My old man’s last day in town. Cooler was too full of beer to put in the beer fridge, so trying to create some room. For organizational purposes

At $16 plus taxes, I splurged a little on this bad boy.....

Incredibly complex. Real gold leaf on the label. Easily the best imperial stout I’ve had.

@GrateEggspectations - great looking beer and an excellent read with the book.
Louisville;  L & S BGEs, PBC, Lang 36; Burnin' wood in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer.
  • @lousubcap: Thanks Frank. The beer is exposed to burning beechwood, lending a rich smoked flavour. Got the book after reading so much praise for it on this forum. I am not terribly deep into it yet, but sure am enjoying it to date. Am already thinking I’ll buy copies as gifts for friends and family. You got any fun bevies on the go?

@CigarCityEgger: I can help make room if you’d like. I’m generous like that.

Met up with some former colleagues at Weybacher this morning for the annual release of Sunday Morning Stout. Got our cases and then enjoyed a variant they had on tap, Sunday Canuckian Stout. It's SMS with added notes of maple and bacon.

Was really good, decided to have a second. Spent almost 5 hours at the brewpub. This morning I told my wife I wouldn't be gone all day. I was wrong...

    $16.99 750mL Budget Bulleit Mannys.
Blood orange, Rosso, and a hella cool gift.  The smoked chili bitters had to be the first up, orange peel listed as an ingredient.

Living dangerously.  Damn I love this cocktail.
