LS, should I start posting over there? Or should I just stay passive-aggressive over here...

Dude, I have a lot of good friends there. I don't have an issue one way or the other. I don't post much there anymore but that is just because it's slowed down so much.

True. I want to get past my own hang ups(the format layout over there) to start posting. I wanna be bi-forum and proud too!

I see that now.  I'm down but who would vote?

My response to Charlie Tuna got them riled up.  He said he just thinks the forum has more experienced egg operators.  Operating the egg isn't rocket science and that was my point.  There is nothing someone that can tell me about operating my egg that I don't already know...even if they've been doing it longer.  That's just a fact!

Now, I bet someone could school me on BBQ...especially since John Lewis already did.

So you are saying 2 years is long enough to figure out an outdoor ceramic cooker? Wow, I thought I'd need at least 5... ;)

Knowing how to make your stove hotter or colder doesn't necessarily result in good food... you still have to learn how to cook. Its like that with the egg. There's a lot more involved than just knowing how the device works :) i.e. owning an egg for longer doesn't mean that one is necessarily a better cook.

I'm imagining that scene from Anchorman where a street fight breaks out between the rival news crews.  Man, that escalated quickly.

I have come to appreciate the berserker-style raids that some of our inexperienced eggers run on the the better forum. Any calls for ending the hate are usually met with louder cries of "go back to where you came from!" I don't get it  @-)

Yep, that was my point. Lots of things go into learning to cook/BBQ/etc better. How to use a particular instrument (BGE in this case) isn't where the experience is needed. An expert Egger that is a relative noobie to food will not turn out results like someone with a few months Egging experience that has been cooking their entire life.

couldn't agree more, I'm more in the first group although I wouldn't consider myself 'expert' in anything  :\">

I thought I new it all after I successfully cooked my first Kazakhstan gerbil-rosemary rotisserie.  Little did I know, the more you know, the more you know you don't know.
