On Sunday its a 4:00AM start here in la la land, I'm trying to make plans on wether to just stay up or set the alarm, maybe I'll do a fully attended overnighter. No, on second thought if I didn't fall asleep, I'd probably just drink too much and pass out.Go Canada Go!Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Sorry, the "other" winter sport of curling.I was not speaking about the "true" national sport of Canada. But since you mentioned it, we can be friends. I grew up watching Gary and Paul. The hidden ball trick is one of the greatest plays ever.

Lacrosse has lost its favour with Canadians, ever since we started using a net and quit tying the chief to a tree and traded using a rock for a rubber ball.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Losers. They just can't handle the speed of the game.

I know, I was a midfielder from 5th-12th grade. The bruising from taking a shot to [insert body part] was insane. I never wore a cup and I am amazed I never took a shot there.

Field lacrosse is for girls. Goalie jocks are made for frontal assault only. Those Indian rubber balls go vertical on a bounce off concrete. @-)

I wouldn't call the Gait brothers girls. They weren't wearing skirts at Syracuse. Indoor/box is for winter time. It's a lot more fun to aim for the ear hole.

I played lacrosse a few years ago and I remember playing the natives in Iroquois. That was a rough game with a fight every couple of minutes and guys being tossed over the boards all the time. We lossed by one that day. But ended up champs at the end of the year

Oh ya we found that out quick. Luckily we only played them one game -
I hated when we played hockey tournaments with six nations. The whooping and big tomahawk yells scared the crap out of us.
