Nice buns

Any good hamburger bun recipes? Googled it but would like some egg proven feedback.

I use the Bread Bible Basic Soft White Sandwich Loaf recipe and just shape into rolls.

Turns out great, I have used it for slider rolls and larger buns. To shape pull apart buns I have rolled the dough out fairly thin, then fold it over on itself. Then use a biscuit cutter or a jar lid to cut out rolls. The top and bottom will bake together but can be pulled open.

@jimreed777 In case you didn't know, there a lot of old guys on the board and your link might just cause some heart attacks.  I don't think you want that on your conscious.

My family likes the pretzel ones pretty well...started with the recipe on the mother ship website but like this one better...it's for hotdogs but if you make them into balls instead of logs it's an easy mod...I also add a tablespoon of salt to the water bath and brush with a beaten egg right before baking...

Also great for cutting into strip and wrapping around a dog or sausage...made chili dogs with em last weekend...mucho good...
