I may have been when I posted, but it's a fresh new morning. Actually this post tied into the Obit post. As I was reflecting on life, being a Turtle was one of the things listed in my Obit. You bet your sweet ass it is. Astronaut Wally Shirra, on Mercury 8 live TV broadcast was asked the question by Deke Slayton in the control room. He was able to switch the mike from live to record so he could answer, and prove he answered correctly, without offending the TV audience. As a military man (Thanks for your service), you should be aware the Turtles were formed by WW2 fighter pilots. Originally a drinking organization (just like Eggers), 'A fearless and unafraid folk, with a fighter pilot attitude....' I was inducted by my Dad, a 20 year career Navy Veteran. The induction ceremony is pretty simple, and I'd be happy to test and induct any who may be interested.
