Village Idiot said:@Ksoko I keep my Vespa at the Harley dealer to show it what it needs to become when it grows up.@Tuttle871 I haven't used the little Weber since I got my Mini, but I keep it in reserve for an eventual overload. I did just get in my rotisserie for my big Weber. I am going to use that for the Thanksgiving Turkey. I'll use my large Egg for Tamale Dressing and other stuff.I'm not an exclusive Egg whore. I use whatever device I think will work best with the task at hand. And, that includes cooktop, oven, microwave, Weber, Sous Vide, deep fryer, propane turkey fryer, crockpot, Mini Egg, and Large Egg.By the way, in Canuckistan we call that a shed.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Village Idiot said:I read an interesting story on Kingsford though. Henry Ford noticed that he was having a lot of wood left over from making Model T Fords, and thought there might be a market for charcoal. So, he made a company with a relative named.... Kingsford.
To add to the story, Ford made a couple models of BBQ grills to use Ford charcoal on. Here's one I saw in person in Colorado Springs a couple years ago:
And to get back on topic, my garage and workbench are way too messy to show so here's the interior man cave:XL, Large, Small, Mini Eggs, Shirley Fabrication 24x36 Patio, Humphrey's Weekender, Karubecue C-60, MAK 1-Star General, Hasty Bake Gourmet, Santa Maria Grill, Webers: 14" WSM, 22.5" OTG, 22.5" Kettle Premium, WGA Charcoal, Summit S-620 NG

I love those work benches! Care to share more about their history? and how you got them? PM me if you don't want to share that info here. They are BEAUTIFUL!RRP said:Jeremiah said:Here's mine. I really hate the "man cave" slang. This is my garage. There's tools in that workbench that date back to the turn of the century-- that I still use!
Thank you for the compliment! They were my grandfathers then my fathers and two years ago they became mine. The far one my grandfather built and my dad later added the steel top. The other he bought but it's definitely pre war. What's not in the pictures is my dads toolbox filled with his mechanics tools that I grew up using. These tools and benches mean so much to me because they were handed down, they simply are irreplaceable. To me they are more than objects; tools, they are my connection to my dad and grandfather.Slumming it in Aiken, SC. -

I fine that by opening a new page in "Note" and placing from photobucket in the correct order then copy that into the forum.
Thanks, Mickey, but obviously I have far more to learn about this iMac. How do you keep anything open while adding something to another work in progress? I have to shut every thing down before moving to the next thing and then editing back and forth.Hit attach a file.Hit Choose File.Hit "photos" under the "media" pane on the left side of screen.Select photo from photo library on iMac.Hit insert photo.PhotoBucket=FAILURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here. -

@Cookinbob Is that a Martin NY model on the left. I've had mine since 1964, and Joan Baez signed it. That is the model she used when she first got popular.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious

It is a 1970 D-18 which I bought new in 1971. $420 with case at the time. Has a nice open woody sound, though early 70's were kind of dark years for Martin. Where on the guitar did Joan sign yours?XLBGE, Small BGE, Homebrew and GuitarsRochester, NY

Bob - nice pic of Trey there! VI - be careful with that autograph. I had a banger guitar my friends signed for me as I travelled backpacking in Europe and that ink rubs off really easily.Large BGE and Medium BGE

It was at the Scheel's sporting goods store for several years. Now it is in my uncle's trophy room in Fremont, NE. We don't have the space for it because of the height.

Just starting out on my new one, i have a 20 x 15 on the other side of the house that I keep the tractors and most tools. Finished it last year, old pics, I have sinse put in a fridge and a half, hung some pictures, and moved the wifes kareokee machine out after i wired and installed the sorrond sound. a few parties have taken place in here this past year. (a few accidents as well) I put the trim up as I am not much good at the mud and tape. Worked out pretty nice though, have built 2 egg tables in here so far, deciding on a few winter projects at the momoent.
