Well major organs: heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, pancrease, eyes.

Tissues: skin, long bones, hear valves, pericardial sack, great veins, intestine.

There are several reasons to rule out organ potential, past medical history including cancer, Alzheimer's, sexually transmitted diseases, age. It's mainly case by case.

I work with assessing donor potential and managing the patient util the pecurment. I also work with the families in consent and understanding throughout the process.

It's an odd job. But someone has to do it. I love it. Very rewarding.
