Out of whack vs. In whack

OK, maybe this should be asked on the "What are you drinking tonight" thread, but didn't want to hijack it.  It's late, had a few adult beverages, and I'm looking at the Forum and saw a post about a temp probe being "Out of whack".  Is there such a thing as being "In Whack"?

No such expression exists in our language, my friend.  The proper term can be "calibrated" or "working" or a myriad other phrases and words.  Indeed it can be said the alcohol is flowing on labor day weekend, which is really an anti-labor weekend, as most of us are off of work.
