New Mini........kinda

Costco marked these down to $129 for summer clearance and I couldn't pass it up. Same size as a Mini but its made by Vision Grills and called a "Kub". With Costco's return policy I figured I was pretty safe.

Man I have been checking Costco twice a week to see if they got them in here in Georgia but no luck. At $129 I would have bought a spare.

The shelves are way cool. They're supported by approximately 5/16ths steel rods that fit into a slot on the brackets. This allows them to swing up and down and lift off with no tools and they're very sturdy. That's why in the pic where it's on my gasser island they're off.

Tustin.  But not to crush your hopes my friends and I bought the last six of them in boxes. In fact when one of my Egger friends when out to buy them two day later they had marked them down to $99. So you might have them do a search or see if they have the floor model left. Good luck.

Yes. They accept Paypal so you are covered. I got scammed once before and Paypal refunded my money. I got a confirmation email with an order number from the website.

I can't find much info on this product.  The pix on the grate looks like stainless steel... Is it?  How well does SS make grill marks?

I hope the band will fit my small egg then I can have shelves. The specs online says it has a 16" diameter which would put it closer to the small than the mini.

not sure where they are measuring the dimensions, 87 sq in grill size works out to 10.5 inch diameter grate. will see soon though, i ordered one too

I was able to repair my Mini so I didn't need one.  Would have bought one anyway.  :-)

Maybe give it to my brother for a Xmas present.  Oh well, sounds like it's too late now.

I tried searching all over the internet and couldn't find anything close to that price. I found an ebay listing for $175 but it was sold. I would have loved to have bought one at that price($129). We don't have Costco here so going to the store is not an option. Thanks for the post. A person has to strike while the iron is hot.
