What card games do you play socially? My MIL is still here and I can't remember the last time I played so much Hand & Foot. We also enjoy Euchre, but my MIL doesn't play that.

if your looking for an easy game, screw your neighbor. everyone starts with 4 quarters or a dollar bill, you lose a quarter goes in the pot or you fold a corner on the bill, after you lose the 4 quarters your allowed to play on your face but if you lose again your out. kings are walls you cant pass a card to your left if theres a king showing. its a simple game to teach and any drunk can play it

It's not a card game but we enjoy playing Scattergories. And, I should mention that Peggy Hill was a Boggle champion...we've enjoyed playing that as a family activity too.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

I play 52 card pick-up with my 1 year old. She throws them and I try to pick them all up before she tries to eat them.

My 5 year old is into War and plays with gusto! She has her own cards that used to be a couple of our good decks.Flint, Michigan

My 5 year old loves Old Maid and Go Fish, as long as we use her cards, which are all Disney Princesses. We've also started teaching her Skip Bo.
With family and friends, we play a fair amount of Canasta and I always play a few games of cribbage whenever I am visiting with my grandfather.
We play board games more though, Acquire, Carcassonne and any of the Ticket to Ride games are favorites.

Hearts or you can also play spades- or the old standby ginGreensboro, NC

Gizmo (Sometimes called 31) Great for all ages - we play for nickels or quarters with the kids, dollar bills for the adults. http://www.52pickup.net/card-games/thirty-one-31/Otherwise we are a big poker playing family. Every hand played, the quarter ante goes into a jar. True straight flush wins the jar of money. Usually gets up close to $100 before someone wins it.__________________________________________It's not a science, it's an art. And it's flawed.- Camp Hill, PA

I also have played the Americanized version of Dai Hin Min.It's a little early to reprint the name here; the FCC may come calling.

We used to play a lot of Spades and occasionally Hearts. Haven't played neither one in years though.

I love a nice cutthroat game of Hearts. Also really enjoy Cribbage.

Euchre and crib (Canadian must plays). Hearts also fun with a group, 31 if more than 5 or 6 players. Once in a while the Rummoli comes out, always fun.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!
