So have an idea. Everyone post a recipe for use on BGE that involves bacon. Only rule is if someone else post that item then you can't, so no duplicates. Can be simple or involved.
I'll start. I have huge crowd success with bacon wrapped artichoke hearts. I'll usually grill a plate of them for people to snack on while I'm grilling the main meal.

can't post a pic but I will as soon as the site stops acting up.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX -
They are easy. Just lay the boneless thigh out flat, place a strip of jalapeno and some goat cheese. Roll them up, wrap in bacon and I grill indirect at 400 until done. I use meat glue to hold the bacon on and that works awesome. Did it again last night and they were a huge hit. I brush with Salt Lick BBQ sauce to finish. that gives them a very nice glaze.Bacon wrapped chicken thighs stuffed with goat cheese and Jalapenos

That's similar to what my wife does but she uses cream cheese and shredded cheese. She also dices up the jalapeños.
But I love goat cheese so can't wait to try.
Keep the bacon ideas coming!Boom -
I recently cooked some Royal Red shrimp topped with a little sage, shredded parm, and wrapped in bacon grilled seam side down. They were tasty.Sarasota, FL via Boynton Beach, FL, via Sarasota, FL, via Charleston, SC, via The Outer Banks, via God's Country (East TN on Ft. Loudon Lake)

Sorry about not getting pics. I stink at that part of the deal. If you've never tried Royal Reds, they taste like mini lobster tails.Sarasota, FL via Boynton Beach, FL, via Sarasota, FL, via Charleston, SC, via The Outer Banks, via God's Country (East TN on Ft. Loudon Lake) -
Grocery store called Earthfare sells steak that's been cut in middle like pita break and stuffed with shrimp. They then wrap in bacon. One of the best pre-prepared things I've ever had from a meat deptBoom

Is that the same Earthfare that's in Charleston, SC? It's sort of like a Fresh Market.Sarasota, FL via Boynton Beach, FL, via Sarasota, FL, via Charleston, SC, via The Outer Banks, via God's Country (East TN on Ft. Loudon Lake)

They are a regional chain. I go to one in Columbia but one in Charleston is the same. And you're right, similar to Fresh Market. Overall I prefer EF but FM is very good. They have better seafood selection too.Boom -

Because of this conversation yesterday I made bacon wrapped chicken thighs stuffed with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and basil. They were awesome... pics later today. Thanks, The Cen-Tex Smoker!I'm Kristi ~ Live in FL ~ BGE since 2003.

Yum. Glad you enjoyed. We did them on Sunday for a crowd and they were a hit. Almost unfair how easy they are to make!Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

Btw- when we do sundried tomato and basil, we use feta. Feta is great because it stays in place a little better than goat cheese when melted and it really plays nicely with the tomato and basil. Give that a shot some time when you are looking for a change up.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

@NecessaryIndulg, I made something very similar last week (from Cen-Tex's post) using sun dried tomatoes, prosciutto, and feta. Very tasty indeed.Bacon wrapped chicken thighs stuffed with goat cheese and Jalapeños

That sounds great. I think the combinations are almost endless. Take things you like and roll it up. Plus, cooking it on the egg makes it better to begin with!Sarasota, FL via Boynton Beach, FL, via Sarasota, FL, via Charleston, SC, via The Outer Banks, via God's Country (East TN on Ft.
