So nice to Egg with daylight! :silly:
Blue Ginger (Ming Tsai) recipe
dozen frozen from Sam's, defrosted in sugar water, deveined by cutting thru shell - not many veins!
prepped and aromatics -- "the raws"
Sake while waiting for BGE and lump to "get ready" along with seaweed salad to marinate
the cook:
the reward!:
served with Pinot Grigio...I added a some fresh lemon juice to mine :woohoo:

That looks outstanding. I'm looking forward to doing some stir fry on the egg. My copy of "The Breath of a Wok" came in a few days ago and I'm deep into reading that. I'll be ordering my wok in the next week or so to get started!

Kari, the Salt & Pepper shrimp look soooooooooo good. Is that in Ming's East meets West or the Simply Ming book (I'm at work and can not check my cookbooks). I really liked your pics. And what can you tell us about the seaweed salad? Is it a Japanese recipe?
