Ok, I want to do an apple pie, and thanks to you guys you always help out. (My brisket was AMAZING) thanks.
So, do I just pick an apple pie recipe and follow that and substitute the egg for the oven.
I plan on doing it on the plate setter, do I use the pizza stone (foiled) also?
If anyone has a great recipe would sure appreciate it.

Picking up a recipe and using the Egg as an oven works mightyfine.
I googled and picked out a simple recipe a while back (can't remember which one) and made it into a za instead with some strips of cheddar on top

Just pick a recipe that you like. Bake it indirect just like you would in the oven. Make sure you have a nice clean burn or you will get a smoky taste, particularly the next day. If, of course, you don't eat the whole thing immediately.

I set a pizza stone on my grate and preheat it along with the Egg, then set the pie pan on it. Really make sure you have a clean burning, well established fire. (pie bird, and pie pig are optional, heheheee)
