Moscow Mule, who drinks them?

If you drink them, what is your recipe for them? Anybody use Tito's? Got a bunch of folks coming in next week for our son's graduation party. They all like these things, so if you have a great recipe, help a brother egger out.
Thanks.

I bought copper mugs, with brass handles. I had them in copper mugs with brushed nickel interior, worked mighty fine.

I just pour. Fat shot of Tito's, big squeeze of lime, I do 50/50 ginger beer to soda but I don't like sweet drinks. If you like sweeter, go 100% ginager beer. Less sweet, more soda. Mint- just take 1 or 2 leaves and clap in your hands real hard to bruise them. Then put them in and they will infuse the drink and you will look like a bar pimp.

We're spoiled coz Tito's is $20 a handle here.  And Costco has great ginger beer. Don't recall the brand. But barely remember getting pretty f#cked up.

Liked Mules,  with a "formula" similar to what CenTex describes, but ever since I saw that this was Oprah's drink they somehow don't taste the same..... must admit, making mules was one of the few uses for leaves from a lemon mint plant we have in the yard.

I love Moscow Mules.  I don't like Titos though.  It gives me wicked heartburn.

I use Not Your Fathers Hard Ginger Ale instead of regular ginger beer.

Fever tree is my prefered non-alchoholic ginger beer.  Bundaberg is good too.

Reeds is no bueno in my book.  Many a homemade mule has been ruined by Reeds.

They're really hard to Fock up.

    1.  All copper mug, not the brushed interior fake ones.

    2.  A decent quality ginger beer.

    3.  Stoli, Titos, Absolut, a good middle of the road, smooth, clean, mixer.

    4.  Fresh, squeezed, lime wedge.

Very smooth and refreshing. That's the only problem, the mule part kicks in when they kick your arse! Hard to stop drinking them they are sooo good. Enjoy the drinks and fine company.

Tito's, Goslings ginger beer and a squeeze of lime in a copper mug.

I sometimes substitute rum, light or dark, for another version that is also good. Can't recall the name of it though.

If you use rum, it's a dark and stormy (although I guess if you use light rum, it's a light and stormy).

(and with bourbon, it's kentucky mule - my wife likes to mix ginger beer with Crown Royal.  I don't know what that's called).

Reading this has me craving a mule now, ginger beer added to the Trader Joe's shopping list. I'm not a huge vodka drinker, but find myself drinking titos more often then not when I dabble.
