@paqman: Have you been to L'Autre Oeil, in Aylmer? Over 506 beers available! Also, for the record, my wife and I will likely be visiting Foubrac this weekend!

    Tonight, Bell's Oarsman's Ale.

@reload , curse yourself and visit Portland, OR. aka brewtopia, aka aka beervana. Corner groceries may have 500, yes, 500 different beers on hand. Spend a week or two happier and more well fed than imaginable, and report back.
I might need to take a two week vacation and visit Portland!

@Foghorn - I have tried it a couple of times.  It is good, and I'm glad I've bought it and tried it, but I'm not super huge on some of the sweeter/vanilla notes you get from bourbon barrel aging.

I doubt I'll ever get the bottle again - I just can't see spending $21-22 on one 750 ml Curieux when I could get two 4-packs of the regular Tripel for the same price.

@Acn, fair enough.  It's not for everybody.   Their Tripel is phenomenal.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Im one of those that prefer a sweet tea while I'm eating, but I'll drink me a Bud Light Lime while its cooking. I just don't seem to drink as much the older I've gotten.

This depends what part of the country I'm in.  If visiting the folks in PA it's Yuengling all day long because you can't get it west of the Mississippi.  Here in CA, Anchor Steam.

I don't like beer with food not even pizza. But before I eat look out.

@GrateEggspectations I've been there a few times.  Good place.  Do you live in Gatineau or Ottawa?  It looks like you are spending a lot of time on this side of the river.  I live in the east end of Gatineau (Buckingham) so I rarely go in Aylmer but we have a few friends that live there.

if I'm drinking beer it usually Mich Ultra...but I'm a big fan of wine....  Usually middle of the road 10-20 dollar bottles.  Great for snacking while cooking and always great to pair with the meal.  Fav Cabs include: Educated Guess, Joel Gott, Josh, Hess.  Fav Red Blend: Tupungato...on the cheap Menage a trois.  Pinot Grigio: Santa Margherita, Erath.  A friend of mine said to always buy 2...that way if you like you can either have another bottle to drink or you have one to match next time you are out at the store... They are fun too when trying something new...kind of like a brisket...never know what you are going to get until you uncork the bottle.

Of the ones that I have on hand right now, I'd say the Fat Tire, Molson Golden, and Yuengling Lager. I like Shiner Bock with BBQ as well.
I like my butt rubbed and my pork pulled.
