I have never argued with you about gun control or posted graphs or argued about gun deaths with logic and data. So. No. Actually. I don't 'remind you'. You imagine. You prejudge.

also. Good chance i own more guns than you. Grew up in a house in new england with a gun over the fireplace. A gun my father made

have my great grandfathers Sauer und Sohn double barrel damascened shotgun leaning in my closet (not loaded. I'm not a fcking paranoiac). A few othwrs locked away. And i'm old school. Not stupid enough to register them. This is new england after all. The reason you clowns have a second amendment in the first place. John Adams wrote the constitution that became the basis for the one you cling to. I drive by houses once a week where revolutionaries crawled to to die after the battlw of Lex and Co. So get off my ass

Hunted at 13. With the 30/30 winchester i got when i was 12. I sucked at hunting. But that's a function of my sucking at hunting, not because i am afraid of things that go bang

i just don't think i'm a tuff guy because i have guns and ammos. Can't be said about a lot of macho CC douches around here

@Darby_Crenshaw, surprised you bit.  Just poking brother.  You've taught me much, you've not provoked me.  I was simply playing.  Sorry if you felt offended, or are just having a bad day.  I respect you greatly and couldn't give a shlt about gun counts...  I put stuff out there to learn.  Social experiment this is.  Samuel Clements is my relative. Who cares.  Was really just trying to have fun. Sorry that's not how you took it.  I look forward to learning so much more from you and interacting in a forum that accepts jest, sarcasm and fun.  Peace man.

"Clemens" (and that correction is tongue in cheek, lest @DoubleEgger get his underoos in a twist)

Anyway. Tthere are apparently a couple tough talking  CC gun brandishing tough guys here who are secretly wishing THEY were in that conference room the other day because THEY shoot at a fvcking paper target once a week and, gee THEY would have been able to stop the two terrorist dipsh!ts if only THEY were there

i can tell you with a straight face that i know a number of veterans, from WW2 to those my age who do not brag about killing and do not puff their chest out about how THEY have a concealed carry license. And how THEY have a home defense shotgun. They don't hang out in gun-porn forums.

They hate having to have done what they did. They don't want to do it again. And they don't want their kids to have to do it

Just gets tiresome these halfassed latter day cowboys. Who cares.

Anyone of us could  have ten pistols on our dining room tomorrow morning. If that's the measure of a man today in America, then THAT's what we have to be worried about

because as we have proven, any idiot can own a gun. And it ain't just teaparty knobs that own them. They're just the ones that think it is impressive

I'm not a chest thumping CC. I'm just sick and tired of everyone trying to sell AMERICA out. We as Americans need to wake up. It's only a matter of time before we are going to be fighting them on our soil.

Clemens, hate the auto correct.  Yup, inability to be humble.  Ok.  My father in law flew 30 b17 missions including D-Day and over Berlin.  Silver Cross.  My Dad was covert CIA in Germany, Laos, East Germany and Peking.  Who cares besides me? No one.  Do I know anything about guns?  Maybe.  Does that make me special? No, unless you threaten me physically in real time.
i understand the the horror and terrible thing that war is.  I'm not in any way trying to glorify guns or violence.  I abhor violence.  I never want to shoot any of my guns outside the range or field.  You're quick to judge which lowers my respect for you.  Not that you or I care.  Can you ever put down the spit wads and make a friend?

Bruce and Big Ron wouldn't get along.
Brother Yolk I don't know if that is the case or not. The Boss admitted that the time of peace and prosperity under Big Ron was the inspiration for his hit "Glory Days".
That's not even remotely true. Reagan might have thought that to be true (like how he believed he helped liberate Auschwitz) but if Reagan had actually read the lyrics to "Glory Days" I'm not sure how he could link that to the mythical Reagan "peace and prosperity".

There is nothing mythical about the peace and prosperity under Big Ron. Nothing. The song Glory Days is about people looking back to their prime when they excelled at certain things. The guy who could throw the speed ball by you, the girl who could turn all the boys heads etc, etc. The same applies to the era of Big Ron. Folks like myself looking back to the most successful time of our lives when wages were high and taxes were low. So yeah, just like the people in the song, we are looking back to the Glory Days of Big Ron.

@blasting - on a simpler note 2016 is do or die for a good measure of what we stand for in the 21st century.  Should HRC ride into the office, we will continue to degrade the values of hard work and dealing with the challenges that are presented to those who work and generate the income for the gubmint to "share".  You can only redistribute so much.  And it's not working ...
I guess I'm just curious to hear how things have been redistributed under Obama, one, and two what evidence there is that it's not working.

France has stepped up, and is doing a pretty good job at teaching America how to be a superpower.  FRANCE!   Our president is asking for rosier daily briefings so they fit his whimsical picture of the world.  Putan in a single day took over American influence in Syria and put Obama in a corner on the puppy mat. Climate change the biggest risk to our children's future!? Unfortunately I believe the JV team will have many more san bernadino type incidents before Mr. Obama can escape the white house.

History will not be kind to Mr. Obama.
