Those cheesesteak sammies look awesome. I like how you went sort of pannini style. Did you just slice rib-eye thin? Are those the Martin's brand sub rolls?Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

WOW superb post! bookmarked the okra, but I want to know more about the cheesesteak as well . . what kind of meat? how did you season / cook it? bread? cheese?

Thx y'all! For the cheesesteaks, I just used some deli rolls from Walmart's bakery. They actually have some great breads there. The meat was some sorta pre sliced steak ... Can't remember what they call it, but it's convenient for cheesesteak sandwiches. I ended up using the CI skillet to cook the steak. S&P with a little wood added to the coals. Pepperjack and homemade chipotle mayo.
Today's lunch.

Thanks guys... Y'all need to watch 2 Fat 2 Fly's video on the fried okra. When he drizzled on the bourbon infused honey, my tongue almost hit the floor. It was phenomenal! Only way I'll do fried okra from now on.

Steak-eze perhaps?
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
@SmokeyPitt , it was actually "picanha" I believe. It wasn't a prefab kit or anything like that. It was just precut steak.

Gotcha- thanks! Whatever it is it looks awesome.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I just have gone ahead and put my camera and recipe book away. I can't compete with that. Nicely done as always.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.
