Rockwood - my current experience

My previous experience with RW through Firecraft wasnt that great. Bag were beat up and the lump was alot of smaller pieces and dust. My buddy @NPHuskerFL lobbied for his local Ace to stock the stuff and at a fair price to boot. Im finding this supply chain to be much better in getting the product to the end user - me.

Chis just an FYI. Julington Creek area Hagan Ace has a mountain of Rockwood and OP Hagan is slowly but, surely getting a good bit of RW stock. And for those that like WGWW it is also available by order like we did before. I used Rockwood last night for the first time.Fragrance upon opening the bag was a nice surprise, I really like the way it smells, not floral, but not "burnt" either.Low ash, and the ash is a bit lighter grey than the Ozark, which tends to ash darker, almost brown.Of course the ribeyes were fantastic, but I'm taking the credit for that.

I just found a local deal in memphis selling rockwood. Keeps it on the shipment pallets. Have found some monster pieces in the bag that wouldn't fit in the bottom of my Large. Def beat all the other crap I could find locally

I had the exact same experience. Firecraft bag good, not great. Found an Ace an hour away and it has been great. Gonna lobby my local Ace next.

I can't get Rockwood anywhere close to me so Firecraft is my only option. So far so good!

I'm fairly new to the RW club myself. I give thanks to @Thatgrimguy for turning me on to it. We may have got lucky but thus far I have went through 200+ pounds of RW with outstanding results. So far every bag has had nice big chunks of lump with minimal shake. I have been very, very pleased with RW to date.
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
Status- Standing by.
