I actually bought this before I got the egg. Lodge 8" skillet sans the handle. Perfect fit. Probably be tomorrow morning before I can fire her up but she'll see lots of action this weekend.

    1. Wait... we're still talking about the mini right??

    2. If not - it takes that long??

This brisket spaghetti sauce turned out great, using a similar skillet, but mine still has the handle. Could be made on the road, if your brisket leftovers are frozen in a cooler. You can see the cork spacer in the first pic.

I have 6 1/2, 8 and 9" CI pans, but all are antique Griswold or Wagner. Not cuttin' them up for a mini cook. Might look around for a Lodge or no name though. Good idea.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Me and Bre found a old 8" CI pan in the barn today. Going to try and refurbish and use on my mini. Can't read the brand as its in foul shape but it starts with "GR".imageimage

Both. I don't collect them for value, but due to the fact that they are better than anything made today.

Neither actually. But if I have to cook, good CI is nice to have. And I don't want to cut up good stuff that's no longer made. :)
