One down.
For anyone curious. The picture of my setup is plate setter legs up, grid, raised grid, pizza stone. Let everything come to 550-575 and stabilize for 30-45 minutes. Cook pizza on lightly oiled stone with parchment paper for 2 minutes. Slide parchment paper out, cook 6-8 minutes depending on pizza and toppings. Haven't been disappointed yet. -
I did 2 pizzas tonight. . The second one burnt just a bit. Will know better next time they are great pizza is better than I ever imagined on the egg
I regret waiting 3 years.XL Walled Lake, MI -
Ever since I started wiping the stone quickly with a damp rag I haven't burnt one. Don't burn your hand though. It's warm!!!

Pizza - always good on the egg. Like the wiping of the stone between pies.SWMBO, baking expert, suggested tracing the pizza stone onto the parchment paper, then cut it out. Does two things, first build the pie to be about 1/2" smaller than the paper (it will then fit the stone), secondly there is no overhang to burn. Sometimes I leave a small tag to help pull the paper out.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

That looks awesome. What did you sprinkle on the crust. Is that black pepper. I like doing little pizzas, that way you can try different combinations of toppings.

@skiddymarker Thanks for the heads up...I agree with you!
@77bronco .. On our spice rack, there's a seasoning called "Pizza seasoning" ... It's orgeano and garlic I believe. Really makes for some good crust, as well as sprinkling it all over the pizza!
