I did them just like he said. The others are Salt Lick rub with Bone sucking sauce and some with DP Shaking the tree.
Lessons learned: Cazzy's wings need good direct heat to create a little char.
Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

The salt lick with hot bone sucking sauce. Cazzys wings tasted nothing like when he made them. I think they lacked some char and some heat.Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

Yeah, the lack of heat has been across the board. Caz says he keeps his sauce in the fridge and maybe the pepper flakes had time to leach into the sauce. I'm going with chili oil next time.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious

That's what I did. They were my fav.

I think Cen-Tex means the Salt Lick sauce, too.
Cen-Tex do you like their regular or Lauren's Spicy better? I tried the Chipotle, didn't like it, in fact after a few months of sitting in the fridge, I dumped it yesterday.

Good lookin wangs! Lately I have been using The Rub Co hot wing rub mixed with some Grumpys sauce... The wing rub seems to add plenty o heat!Eric O. RMBBQA Member Blog - http://smokeontherockies.com/ Large Big Green Egg

I have some of cazzys sauce soaking in the fridge. I'm doing wings agian this weekend. I've got to get these right. His wings at salado were the best I've had.Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

That's quite the compliment Travis...thanks.
So if I'm understanding, the only thing you're missing is the heat, correct? Everything else was familiar?
I know you mentioned char...I didn't char mine. Just lathered on the sauce and cooked em nice and slow. They were very sticky when it was all said and done.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -
Yep. They were just right except for the heat.Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

Clever pineapple suggestion... -
You are correct and I use the regular. No need for anything else from them.I think Cen-Tex means the Salt Lick sauce, too.

Hmm...I think you could have used a better choice of words to get your point across.
Either way, you're very right...it does. :P
