    @EGGzilla_jr - thanks for responding. @nolaegghead may be back on, and many here appreciate that. He's a good friend whom many of us know in person. And trust me, he's done ALOT for the BGE brand. 

    I hang out here more than other bbq forums because I like the relatively unmoderated format. Members do a pretty good job of self-policing. True trolls need to be dealt with, and I think they show their colors overtly. Members who are out of line should also be dealt with - suspension before banning them may be something to consider. The mothership pays for this forum, so you get to make the rules. We get that.

    In the history of members who have been banned from this forum, i doubt any more than a bare few have garnered support for having their ban revoked. Some dudes are worth it. Some dudes are worthy of it. That name-calling schmuck @JohnInCarolina is questionable at best. 

    Anyways, thanks for intervening, and have a happy holiday season.

    It is my sincere hope that he will keep a civil tongue and refrain from all of the Jesus jokes. The next time that the buffalo is set loose, there may be no calling him back. The Thundergods showed mercy this time. Next time we may not got so lucky. Their mercy has limits my friend.
