I'm just wondering how long would it take.
I'm also assuming that a thread about the Buffalo can't actually be Buffaloed, less the universe implode. What say you, friends?

By definition, it is buffaloed from the very start. I'm sure an algorithm will be at play....the web developers called it the "SGH enhancement".

I tried to smoke an entire buffalo once. However, when I lifted the lid to check on the cook, the buffalo had been buffaloed and was no longer there!Steve

Brother in Carolina, unfortunately I have not attempted a buffalo. However we have cooked a few whole cows when I was younger. Depending on carcass cold weight and smoker set up, it can be anywhere from 24-36 hours. My guess is that buffalo would be in the same ball park.

I've found whole buffalo to be be very chewy, a bit bony and difficult to digest. And then there's all the hair. I'm gonna stick with fruit bats. Tender, juicy and much less kick.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

they are very juicy and can make a mess when you bit into them but well worth it.

I have, with friends, flat out smoked a couple bottles of Buffalo Trace. Other than that, I got nothing."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
