@JohnInCarolina is a good young man who just happened to drink too much damn saké.  He didn't mean what he said and now his life is spinning out of control without the ability to post.  When he's not displaying his intellectual greatness, he's often found disproving that the egg makes everyone a better cook.  His examples of what not to do will cripple this board, so please Mods, un-ban John!  He's currently in Okinawa working on his 8th doctorate, but in his spare time, he's roaming the streets ensuring that Mr. Miyagi's Legacy lives on.  John decided that this mission would be our Thank You to the birth country of the Kamado Grill.  Without them, we would possibly be cooking on a gasser and you might possibly be moderating a Weber Forum {gasp}.  

Also, how in the world could you ban a guy with hair like this?  That hair yo!     :D

    I thought you were joking about him being banned, but I see that he really is. Wow! I don't know what he said, but it must have been bad. 

    He keeps telling us that he is smarter than the rest of us so I am sure a humble (cough, cough) guy such as himself will figure out how to un-ban himself.

    It was actually something else related to "Pending approval" notifications. Perhaps it was strongly worded but I see no reason he should be banned.

    Holy crap...really?  I saw the "Pending approval" discussion but I never clicked on it.  I guess it has been deleted now? 

    I will remember him fondly.  I believe it was his APL Rack of Lamb post that prompted me to order Serious BBQ. 

    Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

    He was upset about an apparently innocuous post on a separate thread getting the "approval" notification so I think he tried to do a George Carlin "7 words" bit to see if that would pass through. I have seen a lot worse things done that received no punsihment(Shoot, I'm still here).
