The egg is built to take the elements... that's one of the things that makes it so awesome. Smoking a brisket or butt in a snow storm is great :) My egg is almost 3 years old now... been outside…1 · -

I have the older version... It's got so much gunk caked in it that the fit is tight and doing 225° to 250° is no problem... Then again, I don't worry about temps that much.2 ·
