Loosen the nuts on the band bolts then they will slip on. Just remember to tighten them back before ever lifting the dome!4 · -

Over time both will get sticky from creosote and will need to be cleaned! The shiney Smokeware cap obviously will show the discoloration sooner than the black reggulator.2 ·
