They are dishwasher safe but I don’t recall them coming out of my washer that clean. Foil would help with clean up but I never tried it to see if it would affect the performance.1 · -

It works on any spit as long the trays fit the cooker (you’d have no problem in an XL). I’ve had a ribolator for years and have used it probably less than 5 times as I found it took more effort to cl…1 · -
