It's been available for a while and there's folks on here that have been using them on their Eggs since it hit the market so there's no reason to think it's treasonous. Get one and cook a bunch of tasty food with it. EGG on!!LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI.

If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard... -

It's all good. For me this is a fad. Don't need a rotisserie but used it on my gasser several times. Fun while it lasted.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

Are you clinching your teeth because you think I don't NEED one??? ....I know I don't NEED one...but it's fun, and it's a different way to use my BGEXL.GrillSgt said:

Love mine, but I keep cooking the same things that I have posted already, lol. I must expand my menu. Super easy to use, but be sure and tighten the screws with pliers since they tend to loosen up during the cook if they have any play at all.

BGE finally made an Egg that fits the Big. Joetisserie? Awesome sauce!Gittin' there...

About expanding the menu. I always think about new things to learn to cook and new techniques to master. BUT. I'm also guilty of forgetting just how great some simple things can be. I roasted a chicken last weekend and it was to die for. Why don't I do that more often? It's also hard to beat a rotisserie chicken. You just keep posting pics of rotisserie chickens - I like looking at them. It also reminds me that not every cook needs to be something "new".Dredger said:Love mine, but I keep cooking the same things that I have posted already, lol. I must expand my menu. Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

I bet that could work really well with the jotisserie for shrimp or kabobs or ribs (multiple racks, no basket)...oh my brain is "spinning" with ideas!GrateEggspectations said:This post is making me think of http://www.ribolator.com/Iowa, 1 BGEXL, 1BGEMiniMax, a truck, a camper and some horses and atvs

It works on any spit as long the trays fit the cooker (you’d have no problem in an XL). I’ve had a ribolator for years and have used it probably less than 5 times as I found it took more effort to clean it than I wanted. Haven’t taken it out of the box in years but admittedly I haven’t been motivated to use it.JNJGoeders said:GrateEggspectations said:This post is making me think of http://www.ribolator.com

@R2Egg2Q Could you wrap it in foil to make clean up easier? Maybe that's a dumb question, but since I don't have one, I wondered... Or maybe it's dishwasher safe?Iowa, 1 BGEXL, 1BGEMiniMax, a truck, a camper and some horses and atvs

They are dishwasher safe but I don’t recall them coming out of my washer that clean. Foil would help with clean up but I never tried it to see if it would affect the performance.XL, Large, Small, Mini Eggs, M&M BBQ Texas Smoke King, Shirley Fabrication 24x36 Patio, Humphrey's Weekender, Karubecue C-60, MAK 1-Star General, Hasty Bake Gourmet, Santa Maria Grill, Webers: 14" WSM, 22.5" OTG, 22.5" Kettle Premium, WGA Charcoal
