I haven't experienced a difference in the vent settings with the KAB. I do not use the stainless BGE grate under the basket. I also haven't noticed it burning through lump quicker than before.1 · -

You are welcome. I haven't held, seen up close, or used any of the other knock off baskets. I do know I didn't have a single issue with my original one that I used for 4 years. The welds all held up…3 · -
