That does sound like a good combination of flavors, and the author is correct about dry scallops and wet scallops. Once you mistakenly buy the enhanced ones, you won't ever do it again.

YES! I love scallops.
Both Steven and thirdeye have made great points here too.
You can NEVER have too many tomatoes and FRESH scallops are a MUST!
Just my two cents worth

Plums are easy to get here, but finding good Heirlooms here will be a bit of a B*&^%...

Doug, Thanks for the recipe...always on the look out for great ways to cook scallops. And thanks to thirdeye for the visual on dry and wet scallops. Was unaware and probably why I have had great scallops and very poor scallops.
