Interesting device...too high tech for me. :woohoo: :woohoo:SEE YOU IN FLORIDA, March 14th and 15th 2014 http://www.sunshinestateeggfest.com You must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture! Visit www.bubbatim.com for BRISKET HELP

I've seen it before. Personally, I like to get out the sinew and any other "unwanted" stuff out of my pork. Fifty bucks seems like a lot of money for that gizmo. I can see where there would be some application for it, but for now, I'll just keep pulling my own pork.
-
I agree with Big'un. I ran across it surfin the web once looks quite simple, but I don't make pulled pork every day, and the price is a little extreme.

Sundown, Great video. The power shredder seems to work very well. I can see where those that cook butts in bulk would benefit from such a device.
Personally Cindy and I serve our butt shredded yet in big chunks on a plate and not in a bun.
I must say the device shredded pork butt in no time. Tim -
I think a fork in each hand will do the same thing, not sure though.

Well I'll be . . . that's made in the same town as my far terminal, North Platte,NE!

I said to my wife, 'Where do you want to go for our anniversary?' She said, 'I want to go somewhere I've never been before.' I said, 'Try the kitchen.'

I think I'll stick to manual pulling.... now, when it comes to saving a little time when slicing, here's what I use.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
Big'un,
That was my thought too on removing the unwanted stuff. I would think it would be harder to find after using one of those things but it sure is slick.
Cheers,

You are absolutely right, two forks is what I have always used. It's like teasing yourself before you get to eat.

I guess if you do multiple pulled pork everyday that might be worth it.Dave San Jose, CA The Duke of Loney

Would be great but I prefer to pull by hand because we (wife)likes getting rid of all of the gunk and the fat.
-
Unbelievable...LOL...and at a mere $48...I'm still laughin..
-
I would have absolutely no use for that thing. -RP

I pass, I still like old school doing it by hand and tossing any less desirable stuff out. It does seem a little expensive for what you get. Loved the video, they just need Billy Mayes to take this product to the next level.
-
Agree on the two forks method. No damage if I happen to get my finger caught in a fork.
-
I can see that as an attachment on the Kitchen Aid mixer.

Two forks forks for me. Maybe after I win the lotto, when I have more money than brains. Then it will just sit in the drawer not being used.

must have gotten idea from that garden tilling advertisement on TV
Hmmm, wonder it that thing will work the same -
im too anal to dirty up my biggest pot and then wash it by hand just to save 10 minutes. Plus the best part of picking of the bad-uns is sampling the good-uns.

With all the butts I pull I actually bought one, but then I realized there are hundreds of people watching me pull those butts. I never used it.
Bought a couple Chinese cleavers instead. Those I use.. :P -
i was hoping he was going to pull it on the white plate so we could see how it works :laugh:fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
