First, let me once again thank everyone here for the info and advice you have put out on this board.
Some of you may know that I am a new egg lover and have been cooking every weekend. I have done ribs, trexxed steaks, a turkey, ham, burgers, kabobs.
I am now thinking of this weekends meal and though I would ask for suggestions for another wonderful recipe on the egg so I can continue to see the varied things I can cook and the true benefits of my egg. So, any suggestions for my weekend cook on the egg? The only Eggcessorie I have not used is my grill extender on my XL Egg, so any that I can use that with might be nice so I can break it in.
Thanks again, for any newbies, the search feature is awesome here, so thanks again to all current and former posts!

You can never go wrong with a butt.

How about a couple of butts and a brisket? Break in that extender and make some people happy! Butts on top

Welcome to the forum. If you have a platestter, do a pork butt. It is a good starting point for low n slow cooks. Paint it with yellow mustard with a dusting of your fav rub, 225 indirect until the internal is 190. Don't forget a drip pan. Heaven on a bun.. :woohoo:SEE YOU IN FLORIDA, March 14th and 15th 2014 http://www.sunshinestateeggfest.com You must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture! Chicken?
. -
I was thinking chicken was the next thing I should try until my wife, sister-inlaw and brother-in-law asked for the Backyard Championship Ribs again... Just got back from the local BGE store and got some Cherry wood which I did not have last time. So it is the ribs again by popular demand (or order of the wife whichever you prefer! ) lol ...
I will post pics and ask for comment as I am learnign so much from the folks here, thanks for responding to all!
