Rainy day brisket

This was my second attempt at brisket and I followed Thirdeye's method. Turned out great!
Started around 8 am. This is several hours into it.
6:15 195 internal.
Some corn and romaine.
Rested in a cooler for an hour, foiled with broth, then carved.
Very moist and delicious!

They were some of those little sweet peppers left over from the abt's, Just wanted to see what they tasted like roasted, really sweet.
The beer was a warsteiner, pretty tasty not hoppy though. -

where did you get the brisket??? i have been getting mine [all 2 of them] at wegmans but they do not look like what the free range and the dizzy pig teams cooked at new hanover. last week they had huge flat thing looked to be 2 feet across $118 [no i did not buy it] -

There is a small chain around here called Darencamps and they have really good meat. The butcher brought out 3 briskets in the cryo for me to choose from. I paid 3.75 a pound, is that high?
